Ever since the two dim-witted slackers debuted on MTV in the early '90s, they've become cultural icons, sparking a 1996 film and a 2011 TV reboot. Despite being a two-part episode, TV listings and the 1994 Fleer Ultra trading cards list this episode as just one part.Mike Judge can't stay away from Beavis and Butt-Head.He also makes another appearance in the episode, Radio Sweethearts, as seen on the DVD set of Beavis and Butt-Head Mike Judge Collection Volume 1. He can be found in the prison scene of the PC game. Kil-ler makes an appearance in Virtual Stupidity. Its likely the episode after this is Beavis and Butt-head Are Dead because in BBAD the same Weekend at Bernie's commercial came on even though it should of all ready been released. The title is a reference to the longest-running reality show, America's Most Wanted, that ran on February 7, 1988, to April 8, 2012.This is the first episode to air in 1994.This means in the Beavis and Butt-Head world Weekend at Bernie's 2 was a success and were able to create Weekend at Bernie's 3–7. In the beginning of the episode the guys watch a commercial of a movie coming out called Weekend at Bernie's 7.Later on, "Kyler" gives them prison tats on their respective butts before departing. "Kyler" initially had plans to kill them, being unable to control the voices in his head (something Beavis commiserates with given the voices in his own head), buy the duo's stupidity settles the killer down as he joins into their brainless laughter. Investigating their garbage, they ate accosted by said escapee who ventures into their back yard, yet they mistake the "Killer" tattoo on his forehead for his name, calling him "Kyler." The duo see a news report on a killer who escaped from prison (though they are oblivious to the increased police presence along their block.) The promise of a reward for his capture piques their interest and they leave the house to find him.
